- Strong currents are common, especially during the southwest monsoon; recommended for advanced divers.
- Marine life
- Grey reef sharks, eagle rays, barracuda, dog-toothed tuna and various angelfish/bannerfish species; manta rays are seen occasionally. Soft corals, gorgonian fans and sea whips cover the reef top.
