- Current is highly changeable: in little or no current the site can suit all diver levels, but conditions are often unstable/unpredictable and it is then unsuitable for novice-level divers, so crew judgment on the day matters.
- Marine life
- Famous as a night-dive site for actively hunting whitetip reef sharks; by day and night also hosts grey reef sharks (sometimes numbering into the teens), turtles, moray eels, stingrays, frogfish, teira batfish and blue-faced angelfish.
