My name is Maanish Salah. I’m a professional photographer and editor. “Photography is my muse, my true profession, and the thing that will undoubtedly drive me insane someday.

I don’t photograph things. I photograph the way they make me feel. Admittedly, it’s a bit of a strange concept. But it’s honest – and it’s the best way to describe my approach to the craft. I wrestle with every image I shoot. I assume perfection is possible. I started shooting at the age of 12 years and I have been very lucky to have had my photography appear local channels, an article was released about me in a local platform called dho.mv I have worked for some insanely powerful politicians as a private photographer and some local travel companies. I have taught over 200 people in photography, digital design. I have worked in all extremes, from photographing peoples, views and deep underwater creatures. I can work in any weather and under any difficult circumstances. For me what matters is chasing the light and sharing it.”
