Thaa Atoll is absolutely stunning! We stayed at Six Senses Laamu and were blown away by the pristine beaches and incredible marine life. The diving was spectacular - we saw turtles, rays, and countless colorful fish every day. The local island tour to Veymandoo was also a highlight - such friendly people and fascinating culture. If you want to experience the real Maldives away from the crowds, this is the place to go.
We visited Thaa Atoll during our honeymoon and stayed at Diamonds Thudufushi. The marine life was spectacular - we even saw whale sharks during our snorkeling trip! The resort was beautiful and the staff incredibly attentive. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the long journey to get there from Male, but it's absolutely worth it for the untouched beauty and fewer tourists. Would definitely recommend for those looking to escape the more crowded atolls.
